This film was produced for the 2007 48 Hour Film Project in Atlanta.  For the contest, we were given certain criteria that we had to follow and we had only 48 hours to write, cast, film, edit, and score the entire 7 minute film.  For this film, we were fortunate enough to be able to work with Matthew Cornwell, an accomplished actor and filmmaker in Atlanta.  The criteria that we had was:

     Character: Mike or Marie Martin, a travel agent

     Prop: a pillow

     Line of Dialogue: “Never mind, I’ll do it myself.”

     Genre: Road movie

At the Best-Of screening in August, “Mike & Danny” won 2nd place in the competition, as well as awards for Best Director, Best Use of Character, and Best Use of Prop as Character.
